Virtual PD Can Be More Effective Than Flying in Consultants

Having consultants facilitate training online to small groups of teachers at our schools has a greater Return on Investment;
Training is a small part of Change Management, therefore for training to be great more time needs to be spent on the Change Management process;
Defour’s 4 PLC questions are just as relevant to Professional Development as they are to student learning; and
Great training, virtual or face-to-face, needs a clear purpose and several peripheral supports.
