Building Trust

Adam Hill, Interim Foreign Principal at Victoria Park Academy in Shenzhen, China shares with me how he supports middle leaders to build strong foundations for transformative collaboration:

  1. His passion for learning and sharing is driven by his hopes and aspirations for staff and students;

  2. Recognise, Acknowledge and Extend (Share) the accomplishments of team members;

  3. Build trust by keeping commitments and always showing an interest in team members’ professional and personal life, always look for an opportunity to support each other; and

  4. Teams that haven’t built trust shouldn’t give up and can still demonstrate collaboration by focusing on small wins, setting themselves up for success the following year.
