Leading Effective Teams: For New and Aspiring Teacher Leaders
This is a Certificate Program – 18 Hours of Professional Development will be Awarded.
Course Dates
There will be two cohorts for this course. One will be for participants that can meet in-person in Shenzhen. The other will be live-virtual, using Zoom. We can not guarantee that the in-person cohort will be able to meet due to constantly changing COVID protection measures. If you register for the in-person course and it is canceled your registration will be automatically transferred to the live-virtual cohort. The in-person cohort will be confirmed 3-weeks prior to the class, or by April 1.

Participants will understand and have the confidence to facilitate faculty meetings, establish a clear and transformative department goal that has buy-in from all team members, and give performance-related feedback.
How will I learn?
This program is divided into 4 modules. Each module is 3 hours. Every participant will be given Michael Iannini’s online self-guided book study for Hidden in Plain Sight: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders.
How do I prepare?
Every participant will be assigned at least 2 chapters of Hidden in Plain Sight reading assignments for each module.
Survey plays an important role in this program to ensure program content and engagement can be differentiated to meet the needs of each participant.
